About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our Kuiper Customer Terminal team at Amazon. As a key member of our reliability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and robustness of our Kuiper Customer Terminal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new reliability specifications and test methodologies to ensure product reliability
  • Identify and validate product risks using Design for Reliability mechanisms and collaborate with design teams to mitigate them
  • Provide hands-on experimental design, execution, and test development
  • Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms and risk assessment on products under development and in the field
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
  • 5+ years of experience with hardware reliability testing for MIL-STD such as vibration & shock testing, fatigue testing, electrical stress testing, ESD testing, thermal stress testing etc.
  • Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and reliability analysis such as lifetime analysis, accelerated factor studies, reliability modeling, and reliability allocation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field
