Job Title: Senior Manager, Entertainment Broadcast and Media

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Entertainment Broadcast and Media to join our team at Holland America Group. This is a hybrid position based in our Fort Lauderdale office, requiring a strong background in broadcast and media operations, production, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Broadcast and Programming Operations and Development: Manage and deliver all aspects of entertainment broadcast operations, including research, development, and implementation of strategic planning for broadcast shipboard operations.
  • Entertainment Broadcast Leadership: Lead and manage onboard broadcast teams to achieve successful performance and professional development, providing operational support and guidance to shoreside personnel.
  • Activity and Entertainment Quality and Assurance: Establish and maintain brand standards for entertainment broadcast operations and media, driving quality control and excellence in onboard television content and media production.
  • Budget and Contract Management: Negotiate and manage license agreements, vendor contracts, and onboard broadcast budgets to ensure efficient delivery of broadcast and media programs.
  • Media and Communications: Capture, edit, and produce content surrounding entertainment and activities, developing and maintaining the Princess Entertainment website and messaging to enhance brand presence and attract top talent.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film/TV, Communications, Marketing, Broadcast, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in broadcast/TV industry, with shipboard cruise experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of broadcast equipment, satellites systems, production gear, cameras, editing software, and industry-related applications.
  • Subject matter expert knowledge and proven ability to build and lead diversified teams in broadcast.
  • Excellent project management and producing skills, with ability to analyze budgets, schedules, and full-scale broadcast production plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence and drive initiatives across divisional and functional lines.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Base salary range: $100,000-$135,000. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base pay is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience uniquely.
