Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer to join our team at All Native Group. The successful candidate will serve as the principal advisor to the Information System Owner, Business Process Owner, and the Chief Information Security Officer/Information System Security Manager on all matters related to the security of an information system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with users, vendors, technicians, and managers to understand and assess computing and system needs and requirements.
  • Communicate the goals, policies, and procedures of the company to the CIS team and develop plans to implement these needs.
  • Evaluate current technology use and needs of the company and recommend software and hardware improvements.
  • Oversee backup, security, and user help systems.
  • Remain current on advances in technology.
  • Provide technical support to users.
  • Prepare and deliver operational or project progress reports.
  • Implement and oversee operational budget and expenditures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an ISSO supporting federal government information systems.
  • IT security certifications such as CISSP, ISSEP, CEH, etc.
  • Experience with ISO, NIST, and US Government standards and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • System administration, cloud, and engineering experience.
  • ITSM (ITIL-aligned) IT security management, engineering, and analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active vendor certifications and/or work exposure in technical areas such as AWS, Cisco, Hadoop, Java, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, and Web 2.0 technology.
  • ISSO candidates must have at least one of the following security certifications: CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP, CEH, CNDA, GIAC, or CRISC.
Education

A Bachelor's degree and at least 7-12 years of progressive technical experience related to Information Assurance C&A.

Security Clearance

Must possess CBP BI DHS or held one within 5 years.
