Job Title: Industrial Security Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Specialist to join our team at Envision Talent Solutions. As an Industrial Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with security requirements for the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) and internal security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the industrial security program to ensure compliance with company and customer security requirements
- Monitor and maintain the Insider Threat Program (ITP)
- Investigate and report security violations and incidents
- Maintain security documentation and files appropriately
- Compile MS Teams data for documentation of affiliate meetings
- Review email logs to ensure adherence to FOCI requirements outlined in the Special Security Arrangement (SSA)
- Upload change conditions in the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- Maintain personnel and facility clearances in the Defense Information Security System (DISS) and update when changes in PCL or FCL occur
- Conduct security briefings and debriefings for personnel clearances
- Protect intellectual property and proprietary information
- Provide new hire and annual security training/education for all employees
- Ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Program Classification Guides (SCGs)
- Maintain the company's security relationship with the Board of Directors and Government Security Committee (GSC) members
- Prepare and present quarterly FSO reports and meeting documents to the GSC
- Manage affiliate visit requests and approval processes
- Conduct semi-annual security self-inspections
- Lead the compliance and certification process for the CMMC 2.0 Program
- Ensure submission of foreign travel briefs/debriefs and upload into DISS
- Ensure compliance with FOCI mitigation, including the Affiliate Operations Plan (AOP), Electronic Communications Plan (ECP), and Technology Control Plan (TCP) as per the SSA with DCSA
- No supervisory responsibilities
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of industrial security experience with a strong understanding of OPSEC methodologies and protection protocols for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified information
- In-depth knowledge of Special Security Agreements (SSA) and Mitigation Plans
- Comprehensive knowledge of security program design and execution per 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
- Strong time management, decision-making, problem-solving, and solution-focused skills
- Proficiency with software, systems, and networks used by DCSA, DISA, and DoD, including: NISS, DISS, NBIS, and SWFT
Education/Certification Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, a minimum of five years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency FSO certification for non-possessing facilities
Clearance Requirements:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Secret clearance is required
- Also, a background check will be conducted on the top selected candidate(s) before an offer is presented
Compensation:
- This role offers an annual base salary range of $120,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
