Low-Voltage Security Systems Field Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Low-Voltage Security Systems Field Technician II to join our team at Waypoint Security Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing surveillance and access control systems for a variety of customers across Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair surveillance and access control systems
- Diagnose electrical, networking, and hardware issues
- Mount and wire access control panels
- Mount, aim, and configure surveillance cameras
- Install peripheral door components
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience with low-voltage cabling
- Minimum 2 years experience with IP-based networking and surveillance and access control systems
- Ability to prioritize quality of work over task completion
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Mechanical aptitude with basic hand and power tools
- Mature, reliable, and professional
- Ability to report to job sites across the Washington D.C. metro area
- Pass a comprehensive background check
- US citizenship or permanent resident status

- Show interest in ongoing professional development
- Exhibit good communication and people skills
- Active Virginia DCJS or Maryland Security Systems Agency certifications
