Job Title: Ambulatory Nurse - General Cardiology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Nurse to join our team in Brighton, MA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Ambulatory Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our General Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ambulatory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting
  • Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure timely and effective communication and scheduling
  • Participate in departmental and organizational quality management and/or quality improvement projects
  • Proficiently use the electronic medical record to document patient information
  • Provide clinical telephone triage and general nursing support for patients across the Ambulatory General Cardiology Department
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Clinic/Practice setting
  • Minimum of 3 years responsible related experience as a Registered Nurse within a patient care ambulatory environment with expertise in Cardiology
  • Experience with telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques
  • Experience providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions as appropriate for an ambulatory outpatient setting
  • Experience performing point of care testing and ambulatory clinic procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership in professional organizations
  • Nursing certification in Ambulatory Care or an Ambulatory Specialty area
  • Case Management experience
  • Experience with team-based care
