Nurse - Ambulatory Care Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team as a Float Pool Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in various medical, surgical, and specialty clinics.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing support and care to patients in the Ambulatory Medical Surgical Specialties & Float Pool.
- Ensure timely and effective coordination of care and communication with patients and referring providers.
- Provide clinical telephone triage and general nursing support for patients across the Division of Ambulatory Medical Surgical & Specialties.
- Maintain familiarity with department activity and work closely with clinicians and support staff to provide the most appropriate triage and facilitate timely and effective communication and scheduling.
- Participate in departmental and organizational quality management and/or quality improvement projects as directed by the leadership team.
- Utilize the electronic medical record to document care in a clear, concise, and compliant manner.
- Work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in a safe and supportive environment.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 6 months of recent clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Clinic/Practice setting and/or Emergency room setting.
- Experience with telephone triage, with a focus on urgent clinical situations and general nursing support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Ambulatory Neurology experience.
- Experience in an Ambulatory Medical Specialty (not procedural) area or Primary Care with patient care delivery as an RN.
