Job Summary

We're seeking a Strategic Accounts Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining technical relationships with our customers, driving sales and revenue growth, and leveraging your expertise to inform our product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with key stakeholders at our strategic accounts
  • Deeply understand our customers' business-critical issues and provide meaningful solution designs to facilitate technical validation of Cloudflare
  • Identify and drive technical conversations across various lines of business within our accounts, engaging key technical buyers to uncover new areas of potential revenue
  • Empower customers in their security and network transformation journeys, helping them define strategies and architect necessary security controls aligned with Cloudflare product suites
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare externally at industry events, showcasing our thought leadership and expertise
Requirements
  • Polished communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to drive discussions with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with engineers and senior executives in large and strategic accounts
  • Experience managing technical sales within large accounts, with a focus on driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Deep understanding of core industry components of Cloudflare solutions, including internet security technologies, networking technologies, and cloud computing technologies
  • Some scripting or programming experience, with a focus on languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Golang
