About the Opportunity

The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) invites applications for the position of Director of Anatomic Pathology. This exciting opportunity involves leading the Anatomic Pathology Service team, driving quality and efficiency in patient care.


Key Responsibilities

This leadership role demands a high level of organizational and communication expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the Anatomic Pathology Service
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining a direct clinical workload through specimen examination and autopsy performance
  • Providing education and training to medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • A valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical practice, including previous supervisory roles
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits and Compensation

PAGNY offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $260,000, along with additional benefits such as:

  • 10% 401(k) company contribution after one year of service
  • CME days and dollars
  • Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center
