**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at our Preschool Program in Queens. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing speech and language assessment and therapy to students pursuant to the Individualized Family Service Plan, Individual Education Plan or Interim Individual Education Plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine student's developmental level and needs, analyzing test results and preparing written summaries for regulatory agencies.
  • Therapy Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans, ensuring consistency with established goals and objectives.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and monitor student progress, providing written reports to EI/CPSE/CSE as required.
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest alternative communication techniques, implementing effective AAC devices and training staff on their utilization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required
  • NYSED Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hard of Hearing (TSHH) is mandated
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality
