Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Touro University. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a crucial role in supervising graduate student clinicians and assisting with the administration of the Touro University Speech and Hearing Center.

This part-time position is located at our Brooklyn campus, where you will work closely with students, clients, and staff to provide high-quality clinical services.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, along with a state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A minimum of 3 years' experience post-CF is required, as well as 2 hours of continuing education in supervision per ASHA requirement.

Your responsibilities will include direct and indirect supervision of graduate speech-language pathology students, regular review of client session plans, and direct observation of client sessions. You will also assist with sessions/evaluations as needed, review and correct reports, and provide speech/language assessment and therapy services to clients.

Key Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience post-CF
  • 2 hours of continuing education in supervision per ASHA requirement
