STV is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our team.

Role Overview:

The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting aspects of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of Project Accounting, including project initiation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Conduct reviews and adjustments of time and expense entries.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and billing processes.
  • Perform Work in Progress (WIP) analysis and reconciliation.
  • Manage collections and Accounts Receivable reconciliation.
  • Facilitate Accounts Payable and project closeout activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms during project setup and maintenance.
  • Prepare client invoices in line with company billing policies.
  • Review and process vendor and sub-consultant invoices related to projects.
  • Monitor project costs and performance on a weekly basis.
  • Reconcile WIP monthly to align revenues and billings.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices through Accounts Receivable reviews.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports as needed.
  • Conduct regular project reviews for closeout readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and support teams to achieve financial objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of nine (9) years of experience in finance or project accounting.
  • Preferred familiarity with the BST system.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry is highly preferred.
Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $79,000 to $106,472. STV is committed to equitable and transparent pay practices.
