Early Childhood Teaching Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced early childhood educator to join our team at Caterpillar Corner Childcare. Responsibilities
  • Create a safe, secure, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that are age-appropriate and aligned with our curriculum.
  • Supervise daily routines and activities, ensuring the well-being and safety of each child.
  • Build positive relationships with children, fostering their individuality and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, and daily tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed on their child's progress.
  • Continuously learn and grow through professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required, with a CDA Credential or college experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or a child-related field (a plus).
  • Strong understanding of child development philosophies and practices.
  • Passion for creating engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) and a commitment to bi-yearly renewal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
