Role Overview

The Child Development Specialist will play a vital role in the Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium, working closely with educators and administrators to create a supportive environment for students to thrive.

About the Position

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services to students, teachers, and parents, promoting academic and social success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Provide consultation and coaching to enhance teacher capacity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Michigan certification as a School Psychologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

The Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium offers a competitive salary range of $51,081 to $90,238 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including paid-leave days, sick leave, personal business days, health, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. The itinerant schedule will allow for flexibility to meet the needs of local districts.
