Aveanna Healthcare Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians, with co-signature from Case Manager
  • Following up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
