EssilorLuxottica is seeking a highly skilled Optician to join our team as a key player in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading optical operations, fostering a culture of learning, and building strong relationships with customers and the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge, effectively communicating the features and benefits of various lenses and frames.
  • Collaborate with store management to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion.
  • Foster a culture of learning, ensuring all team members become experts in optical products and services.
  • Engage with the local community to attract new customers and build relationships.
  • Anticipate and resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
  • Perform work accurately and thoroughly, utilizing technology to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient operations.
  • Support daily retail operations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of store appearance, assisting with visual objectives, housekeeping standards, and floor and fixture changes.
Requirements
  • Current State Optician License
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills, including relationship building
  • Ability to be on feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room
  • Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Optical dispensing experience
