Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) Breast Oncology Department. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide patient care and work closely with specialists to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with specialists to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
- Correlate subjective and objective data to formulate a differential or working diagnosis.
- Formulate treatment plans for medical conditions within scope of practice.
- May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice.
- Prescribe oral and IV medications when appropriate, within the scope of practice.
- Document patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
- Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
- Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
- Active BLS (must be AHA approved).
- Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; field-specific experience preferred.
