You will be responsible for financial accounting, preparing monthly sales tax returns, and handling payment transactions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Processing financial accounting for various companies in accordance with legal regulations (HGB) and applicable principles of proper accounting (GoB)
* Preparing monthly sales tax returns (UStVA) and interim business evaluations (BWAs)
* Handling payment transactions and preparing annual financial statements including year-end bookings, reconciling open items and intercompany receivables/payables
* Communicating with the tax consultant, authorities, and business partners

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Completed training as a balance accountant or a similar qualification
* Several years of professional experience in the field of financial accounting and preparation of annual financial statements
* Knowledge of Navision, which is desirable
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs
* The ability to work in a structured and independent manner, think conscientiously and solution-oriented
* Reliability, resilience, and a team player mindset
