ProRehab Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Medical Office Receptionist for our Newburgh location. The ideal candidate will be motivated, team-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic setting while interacting with patients. Our practice is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care, and we are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with prior experience in a front office role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk scheduling
  • Welcome patients and facilitate their check-in and check-out processes
  • Handle phone calls and respond to email inquiries
  • Collect co-pays and other necessary fees prior to appointments
  • Obtain pre-authorizations for patient visits
  • Conduct insurance re-verifications
  • Perform data entry, generate reports, and maintain filing systems
  • Ensure the front desk and reception areas are well-organized
  • Engage with patients and physicians both over the phone and in person
  • Update and manage patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in our Newburgh location.

Previous experience in a medical or dental front office, administrative role, or customer service is essential. Familiarity with insurance benefits, pre-authorization processes, and approvals is preferred. Compensation:
