About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Psychotherapist to join our team of dedicated mental health professionals. As a key member of our outpatient behavioral health team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to patients, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their mental health and achieve optimal well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based treatments in the field of psychotherapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) certification.
  • At least three years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with a strong understanding of current psychotherapeutic techniques, theories, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
