Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lifeguard to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for preventing accidents and responding to emergencies in a fast-paced aquatic environment. You will work closely with our aquatic staff to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Perform regular safety checks and maintain a clean and organized pool area.
  • Work effectively with our aquatic staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all members and guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Current YMCA Lifeguard Certification.
  • Current ASHI CPR-BLS, ASHI First Aid, and ASHI Oxygen certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position working 12:00pm - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. You will be required to work outdoors and may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
