Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nutritional services to patients with kidney disease, working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients with kidney disease, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition and kidney disease, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in renal nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition.
  • Previous experience in renal nutrition is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software.
