Job Description

At American Systems, we're dedicated to delivering strategic solutions to complex national priority programs. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
  • Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
  • Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
  • Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics degree
  • IAT Level III (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED,GCIH, CCSP)
  • 10 years of experience in: Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority To Operate (ATO) and security assessments
  • Cloud Experience: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Platform (GCP) and Microsoft
