Position: SIC Electrician

Overview: We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team for an upcoming project. This role involves working on various electrical systems and ensuring their proper installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain precision in all tasks, adhering to established standards.
  • Utilize tools such as voltage testers, wire strippers, and pipe benders for layout preparation.
  • Execute panel terminations following safety protocols.
  • Plan installation sequences to minimize disruptions.
  • Install cable trays, pull wires, and bend conduits as necessary.
  • Demonstrate understanding of motor controls and metering systems.
  • Calculate load requirements for electrical circuits.
  • Assess and compare dimensions and configurations of electrical components.
  • Follow detailed instructions and technical plans.
  • Perform tasks in various positions, including overhead and confined spaces.
  • Make informed decisions based on measurable criteria.
  • Visualize components in three dimensions from technical drawings.
  • Lift and transport materials as required.
  • Identify and respond to hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be prepared for potential travel.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Completion of all required safety and job training.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, with exposure to diverse conditions.
  • Access all areas of the job site, including elevated and confined spaces.
  • Meet the physical demands necessary for the role.
  • Safely operate all required tools and equipment.
  • Endure long periods of standing and working in awkward positions.
