About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Athena Health Care Systems. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality nutritional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and develop menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Oversee the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that they are safe, nutritious, and appealing
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalized meal plans for residents with special dietary needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that residents receive the best possible care
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident dietary needs and meal plans
  • Develop and implement educational programs for residents and staff on nutrition and healthy eating
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field
  • Current registration as a Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
