Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental issues associated with ongoing or historic operations and projects.
  • Supervise Environmental Services Department staff and manage department goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain budgets for environmental programs and projects.
  • Uphold safety compliance standards and promote a culture of total safety.
  • Ensure duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in environmental studies or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in environmental consulting or similar corporate or agency position.
  • Proven background in environmental project management and exposure to broad array of environmental issues.
  • Strong management, communication, teamwork, delegation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build relationships internally and externally.
What We Offer:

Puget Sound Energy offers a competitive compensation and rewards package, including a salary range of $98,100.00-$232,900.00 and annual goals-based incentive bonuses. We also offer a suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, basic life, and short- and long-term disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) investment option and a cash balance retirement plan.
