Position Overview:

- Integrate AI and data services within the cloud framework, collaborating with various applications across the division.
- Establish best practices for application development and advocate for their adoption throughout the organization.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Identify opportunities to streamline project requirements and create enterprise-grade, multi-tenant platform services.
- Collaborate with Network Operations Managers and engage with diverse ground station communities.
- Uphold security best practices and compliance controls in alignment with organizational policies.
- Automate cloud operations through scripting and tools, continuously optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Provide guidance on cloud best practices to team members and stay informed on the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native applications and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills and business acumen.
- Proficiency in cloud management and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices for cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and experience with NASA missions.
