What does the role entail?

Sanitation Duties:

  • Ensures Store cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization
  • Collects trash and debris from landscaping and surrounding areas
  • Utilizes H-E-B's chemical program; organizes and maintains stock in the maintenance area
  • Cleans windows and mirrors throughout the Store
  • Empties and cleans waste receptacles during shifts
  • Adheres to food safety and sanitation standards and procedures

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Communicates maintenance requirements, issues, or solutions to Store Leaders
  • Conducts minor maintenance repairs using basic hand tools
  • Maintains ceiling air vents and replaces light bulbs as needed

Customer Service Engagement:

  • Interacts with customers; addresses their needs
  • Assists customers in locating products
  • Performs Customer Service Assistant duties when required

What qualifications do you need?

  • Minimum age of 18 (required)
  • Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and Store orientation
