Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for IT equipment in a large corporate setting.
  • Deliver desktop and laptop support for both Mac and PC systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows 7/10 operating systems.
  • Assist with mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless connections, and VPNs.
  • Conduct IMAC support, including installation, movement, addition, and changes of IT equipment.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of hardware components and spare parts.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Maintain documentation and system configurations.
  • Track and manage customer incidents and requests using the ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Windows devices.
  • Facilitate backup, restoration, and migration of user data.
  • Provide Smart Hands support for networking, server, and telecommunications.
  • Support printers and peripheral devices.
  • Manage inventory of IT assets, including conducting audits.
  • Research and utilize knowledge base articles as needed.
  • Be available for on-call and after-hours support as required.
  • May provide support to executive staff.
  • Perform various other tasks related to deskside services.
  • Be prepared to assist at different client locations as necessary.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, smartphones, AV conferencing systems, printers, and PC hardware.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Experience in supporting remote users and facilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and troubleshooting for complex issues.
  • Capable of prioritizing and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Experience in deskside, desktop, or end-user computing in a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage rapid-response user support effectively.
  • Demonstrated skills in balancing and organizing multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ Certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
  • ITIL Foundations certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
