About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst - Alternative Assets to join our AIM Capital Markets & Sourcing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing analysis, supporting research, and making allocation recommendations for fund and asset manager selection and oversight for alternative assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of alternative assets, with a focus on private debt, private equity, impact investments, and real estate.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess the relative value, capital efficiency, and risk of alternative assets.
  • Collaborate with portfolio allocators to provide investment recommendations and support the preparation of investment narratives.
  • Work closely with the AIM VP/AZL Dir II-Capital Markets to assess performance and other KPIs for separate accounts and fund managers.
  • Support the team in manager selection, due diligence, and legal document review for new strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of investment experience in alternative assets research and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support the growth of rated notes and alternative assets allocations.
  • Relevant investment systems experience for alternative assets modeling (Excel, Bloomberg, Aladdin, etc.).
