We are seeking an experienced Electrical Avionics Technician 3 to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an Electrical Avionics Technician 3, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including configuring aircraft for modifications and removing and installing attaching hardware
  • Interpret and use various test equipment and work from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years electrical experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, and/or maintenance environment
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals
  • Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work, including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead
  • Ability to pass Special Medical/Respiratory Exam
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule, including second shift, extended shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 6 years
  • Completion of A&P certificate program or Associates degree in an applicable field
  • Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence
