We are at the forefront of breakthrough technology development and demonstration programs in multiple areas, including hypersonics, unmanned air vehicle and autonomous systems, advanced sensors, propulsion, aircraft and space science systems.

This part-time position, working 20 hours a week, requires a talented and dynamic individual to support DARPA and Space Development Agency in formulating, coordinating, monitoring, and transitioning advanced research and development programs to the U.S. military.Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support in monitoring the execution of advanced technology development and prototype demonstration programs
  • Performing independent technical assessments and feasibility analyses of new technologies and system designs
  • Attending, monitoring, and reporting on system field testing and demonstrations
  • Supporting technical interchange meetings and design reviews
  • Developing and running simulation models
  • Supporting the identification and implementation of new program concepts
  • Providing program management and acquisition support
  • Authoring program status briefings and technical reports
Requirements:
  • MS with 20 years or PhD with 15 years of experience in relevant commercial or defense-related systems development programs
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Desired qualifications: experience in commercial or defense-related technology research and/or development programs
