Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily quality assurance activities to ensure products meet stated requirements.
  • Monitor product attributes to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Train production staff on quality standards, product specifications, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain records of HACCP, SSOP, Lab, and Plant activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all established safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Specific knowledge of company policies, state, and federal regulations in the poultry processing industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and managers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Conduct periodic audits of recordkeeping files to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings.
  • Assist with ISO documentation and audits.
