Job Title: Radiology Tech
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at White Glove Placement. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of hazardous materials and cleaning equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Meet productivity and quality standards
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with industry developments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- State Licensure: A valid license in the state of practice
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Experience: 1+ year of experience as a Radiology Tech
- Certifications: ARRT (R) certification or equivalent
- Other: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
