Role Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring that every guest enjoys their dining experience to the fullest.


In this position, your attention to detail will shine as you ensure that all meals are served hot and as described on the menu.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive punctually in complete uniform, ready to contribute.
  • Greet all guests within close proximity with a warm smile.
  • Adhere to service standards to cultivate 'Ale House Raving Fans.'
  • Collaborate with both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) teams to meet guest needs promptly.
  • Act as a bridge between FOH and BOH, ensuring all guest requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintain thorough menu knowledge to assist with any inquiries, including food allergy concerns.
  • Ensure every dish is presented according to recipe specifications.
  • Coordinate with food runners to guarantee that dishes are served at the ideal temperature.
  • Manage ticket times while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate any guest or team member concerns to management effectively.
  • Keep work areas tidy and organized, including necessary cleaning tasks.
  • Prepare for shift changes by completing end-of-shift responsibilities and ensuring readiness for the next team.
  • Report any potential issues to management immediately.

Health and Safety Standards:
  • Wash hands regularly throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to uphold safety and sanitation protocols.

Team Collaboration and Skills:
  • Support both FOH and BOH operations as needed, fostering a sense of shared responsibility.
  • Communicate positively with team members and management to stay informed.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess basic reading skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by law.

Physical Requirements:
The Food Service Coordinator must be able to perform job functions with reasonable accommodations.

Physical demands include:
  • Standing for extended periods in a warm work environment.
  • Reaching, bending, pushing/pulling, lifting, and squatting, up to 30 lbs., for short distances.
  • Frequent communication with managers and team members, requiring accurate information exchange.
