Calibration Specialist

Hueman PE Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated Metrologist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing calibration methodologies for precision measurement instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive demeanor.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
- Arrive punctually and prepared for work each day.
- Report directly to your assigned supervisor.
- Complete ongoing physical examinations, background checks, and drug testing as required.
- Participate in continuous safety training, including general and site-specific sessions.
- Design and assess calibration systems that evaluate various physical properties such as length, mass, and temperature.
- Identify and analyze sources of measurement error to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with other metrology professionals to resolve measurement challenges.
- Work independently at client locations.
- Attend relevant technical training sessions.
- Adhere to ISO9001 and ISO 17025 Quality Management System standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle.
- Document service activities accurately in reports.
- Travel within a specified radius as needed for job duties.
- Operate a company vehicle in compliance with local laws.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service requests.
- Be available for overtime as required.
- Carry a mobile device while on duty or on-call.
- Assist colleagues when possible.
Qualifications:
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing low-voltage electronic instruments.
- Proficient in using tools for repair tasks.
- Familiarity with computers and mobile technology.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and web navigation.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
- High School Diploma or GED required; electronics education preferred.
- Military or commercial metrology training is a plus.
