Calibration Specialist

Hueman PE Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated Metrologist.
As a Metrologist, you will play a crucial role in developing calibration methodologies and techniques for precision measurement devices. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and accuracy of measurements, which are essential in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in all operations; accidents are preventable.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive demeanor.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain punctuality and readiness for work each day.
- Report directly to your assigned supervisor.
- Complete ongoing physical exams, background checks, and drug testing as required.
- Participate in continuous safety training, both general and site-specific.
- Develop and assess calibration systems for measuring various physical properties, including length, mass, and temperature.
- Identify and analyze sources of measurement error to enhance reliability.
- Consult with colleagues on resolving measurement challenges and share insights with fellow metrology professionals.
- Work independently at client locations.
- Engage in technical training sessions to enhance your skills.
- Adhere to ISO9001 and ISO 17025 Quality Management System standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle.
- Document service activities accurately in reports.
- Travel within a designated area as required for service calls.
- Operate a company vehicle in compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service support.
- Be open to overtime work when necessary.
- Carry a mobile device while on duty or on-call.
- Assist colleagues when time allows.
Qualifications:
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing low-voltage electronic instruments.
- Proficient in using tools for repair tasks.
- Comfortable with computers and mobile technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and web applications.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
- Possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
- High School Diploma or GED required; electronics education preferred.
- Military or commercial metrology training is a plus.
