As a Mechanical Engineer for our Project Support group, you'll play a critical role in concept, quote, plan, and design of automation tooling system projects from concept through site installation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead the conception and quotation phase of projects, including pricing and project planning.
* Complete mechanical designs of automated tooling systems.
* Generate mechanical drawings to meet project requirements.
* Select commercial components and create Bill of Material.
* Coordinate and assist with the installation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
* Point of contact for our customers on assigned projects.

**Requirements:**

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
* Understanding of engineering machine design principles and ability to apply them effectively.
* Proficient in using SolidWorks CAD is required.
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Excel, and Word.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally. (Travel up to 10%)
* Must be a U.S. citizen or able to comply with U.S. export regulations.

**Nice to Have:**

* Experience in the design of custom automation machines with integrated precision tooling.
* Experience with high precision, progressive carbide stamping dies.
* Knowledge of MS Project software.
