About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op to join our team at JR Automation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist and support our experienced Mechanical Engineers in designing, building, and deploying custom automated equipment and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating detailed drawing packages for Mechanical Engineers.
  • Solve practical problems with no standard solution.
  • Develop conceptual designs for customers and sales teams.
  • Work with vendors to ensure proper sizing and quotation of purchased items.
  • Complete all stock sizes for mechanical bills of material.
  • Create DXF files for burnouts and internal/external machining.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.
