  • Confirm eligibility and benefits for various insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care, through online resources and direct communication with insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with service representatives from Managed Care Insurance companies to validate eligibility and secure initial evaluation authorizations for home care services.
  • Perform data entry of essential insurance information into the Agency's computer system to guarantee prompt and accurate reimbursement.
  • Conduct daily data entry of documents and maintain patient clinical records.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Prior experience in health insurance is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service with a focus on phone interactions.
  • Familiarity with general office practices and equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service and follow-up abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at software navigation.
Additional Preferences:
  • Experience with HHA Exchange software is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in home care intake is preferred.
  • Understanding of referral sources is beneficial.
