Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at the Utah Valley Hospital. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams to identify abnormalities and aid in patient diagnosis.

Job Summary:

This position requires a high level of technical competence and attention to detail. You will be responsible for prioritizing and scheduling exams, coordinating with medical staff and patients, and performing ultrasound exams in a timely and safe manner. Additionally, you will mentor caregivers and students on basic equipment use and procedural technique.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams using ultrasound technology
  • Prioritize and schedule exams to ensure efficient use of time and resources
  • Coordinate with medical staff, patients, and caregivers to ensure smooth exam processes
  • Mentor caregivers and students on basic equipment use and procedural technique
  • Accurately document exam results and other necessary information
Requirements:
  • ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
