Job Title: Registered Vascular Technician

This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under the supervision of a physician to identify patient abnormalities and contribute to accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of diagnostic exams using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, patients, and caregivers to ensure seamless exam coordination and patient care.
  • Prepare patients for exams by educating them on procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols and achieve high-quality results.
  • Mentor and train caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural techniques.
  • Document exam results and other relevant information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Hold ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
  • Obtain Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Achieve one of three national registry credentials through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI applicable to the department.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Work Environment:

This role is based at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, and requires a 40-hour workweek with a Monday-to-Friday schedule.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $37.46 to $57.80, depending on experience.
