Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their respiratory care requirements.
  • Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other respiratory care devices.
  • Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
