Overview:
As a leading provider of indoor environment solutions, CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Installation Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities:
The HVAC/R Installation Supervisor will be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring project crews, prioritizing and delegating tasks, communicating with tradespeople on the job site, and tracking project schedules to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely completion. This role will also serve as a lead technical resource on assigned projects, reporting on job status and performance, controlling job costs, and developing and maintaining productive relationships with peers, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Additionally, the supervisor will ensure the use of personal protective equipment and safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employees, and ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program or technical school, with a college degree being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building construction or a related industry/trade is required, with commercial HVAC Foreman experience being a must. The candidate must be willing to travel and work nights, with knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours. The ability to organize tasks, use good judgment in making work assignments, give clear instructions and guidance, maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits, and request change orders as needed is essential. The candidate must also be able to ensure safe work practices, understand and follow all company policies and procedures, and all applicable state and federal laws. Finally, the ability to work with minimal supervision, track record of punctuality and dependability, and ability to use computer tools, including email, word, and project planning software, is required.
