-Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Commercial Housekeeping/Public Space cleaning, ideally within the Hospitality sector.-Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of continuous walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting to fulfill daily tasks.-Ability to use step ladders as necessary.-May frequently encounter secondhand smoke and dusty environments.1. Provides exceptional guest service to both internal and external guests.

2. Cultivates a supportive and motivating atmosphere for Team Members.
3. Responsible for general cleaning tasks including carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas, as directed by the Lead Housekeeper.
4. Adheres to checklists and guidelines for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
5. Participates in pre-shift briefings and arrives punctually.
6. Complies with OSHA and Hazcom safety practices.
7. Assists with the receipt of equipment and supplies, coordinating their distribution and storage.
8. Aids in the upkeep of all storage areas, equipment maintenance, and chemical labeling.
9. Monitors the condition of equipment and utilizes all tools correctly to ensure proper maintenance.
10. Addresses issues within the scope of authority and recommends actions for problems beyond that scope to the supervisor.
11. Keeps the supervisor informed of relevant activities.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Duties:
In addition to the other responsibilities outlined, each Team Member has the following obligations related to compliance with laws and regulations.
- Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the Company.
- Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
- Perform duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure minors are not permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, consume alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Be knowledgeable about the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the Team Member's department.
- Understand the Property's programs addressing problem gaming.
- Report any known acts of wrongdoing.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Ability to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied lighting conditions, including flashing lights.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Virginia Racing Commission License. A list of physical demands, equipment, and work environment requirements can be reviewed in Human Resources.
