Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled International Banking Specialist to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our International Wire Services team, you will be responsible for executing daily operating activities, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Review and process all transaction requests, including preparation of documentation and cash item delivery, ensuring authentication of requests and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Service & Support: Coordinate with internal and external parties to achieve business goals and streamline service experience, determining target needs and providing resolution.
  • Reconciliation: Maintain balance of cash items in vault or system, addressing imbalances by timely processing of fees, payments, or returns.
  • Currency Proficiency: Maintain knowledge in area of work, inspecting foreign cash items or transactions for accuracy and ensuring competitive rates for Bank currency exchange.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in International Banking or Operations.
  • Preferred Area of Experience: Banking.
  • Wires experience.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to work within multiple systems at one time.
Compensation

Base pay for this position is generally between $16.58 per hour and $23.83 per hour in North Carolina, and between $19.64 per hour and $28.58 per hour in California. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
