CALIBRE Systems, Inc., a distinguished Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation firm, is in search of an Aviation Logistics Operations Strategist to collaborate with the Marine Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC), Aviation Logistics Division (ALD). This role involves advising the Commander and executing directives on aviation logistics, representing the Commander across various Naval Aviation Enterprise levels, and providing essential support to subordinate units to ensure operational readiness of the forces.
Key Responsibilities:

AVIATION LOGISTICS PLANNING AND STRATEGY - Support MARFORPAC ALD by providing insights and recommendations aimed at transforming the Naval aviation enterprise into a more streamlined, efficient, and effective organization. A solid understanding of available forces, resources, and capabilities to execute various logistics operations is essential. This knowledge is crucial for addressing the requirements posed by contingencies and other missions assigned to MARFORPAC, as well as for proposing changes in operational logistics principles. -
DAILY OPERATIONS
o Deliver subject matter expertise for the development, refinement, and enhancement of Aviation Logistics (AVLOG) operational concepts, Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI's), and deliberate plans to bolster aviation logistics capabilities and maintain operational readiness.
o Provide comprehensive AVLOG management capabilities, ensuring coordination among components to develop and implement strategies for crisis prevention, mitigation, or response.
o Create briefs and other documentation to articulate Aviation logistics (AVLOG) requirements in support of Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI's), Operational Plans (OPLANs), and contingencies.
o Utilize Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), and Task Management System (TMS) to monitor messaging and task management accounts for NIPR and SIPR networks, tracking messages and tasking for MARFORPAC ALD Plans.

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Represent ALD in coordinating efforts across various MARFORPAC divisions and subordinate commands by participating in MARFORPAC Campaign plan synchronization meetings, planning meetings, and aviation logistics staff meetings.
o Support synchronization and planning meetings by managing audiovisual equipment and displaying products that have been developed and maintained.
o Coordinate aviation logistics employment and sustainment requirements with Component, Combatant Commander, and Joint representatives.

MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Utilize Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS-S) and Defense Readiness Reporting System-Marine Corps (DRRS-MC) accounts to conduct accurate monthly assessments.
o Lead and support Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and other workgroups as required.

QUARTERLY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide command chronology input for ALD Plans.
o Maintain policies, pass downs, and procedures for ALD CAT and forward deployed headquarters.

ANNUAL RESPONSIBILITIES
o Lead the development and/or updates for remote expeditionary support packages to inform OPLAN TPFDD requirements.
o Evaluate the aviation logistics planning process using Logistics Planning Tool and the Deployed Logistics Solution web-based system.
o Assist in developing CONOPS for afloat or ashore aviation logistics exercises.
o Review and update OPLAN annexes, appendices, and Joint Logistics assessments.
o Assist in reviewing equipment density lists for multiple MARFORPAC Global Prepositioning network sites.
o Conduct training and exercise events, interoperability workshops, tabletop exercises, and senior leader seminars.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Military specialization in Naval aviation related MOS with a minimum of ten years working experience in Naval aviation logistics.
- Minimum three years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at MAGTF or Joint/combined command level.
- Thorough understanding of Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS - or equivalent reporting system experience.)
- Possess a thorough knowledge of USMARFOR operations in relation to OPLANs/CONPLANS and exercise scenarios in the Pacific.
- Possess a thorough conceptual and working knowledge of the Time Phased Forces Deployment Data (TPFDD).
- Ability to work with minimal oversight on high visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.
- Through understanding of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP).
- Advanced proficiency with using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams, Words, Power Point, etc.)
- Must be able to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold a BA/BS
- Hold a MA/MS degree, preferably relating to supply logistics and/or similar disciplines.
- Prior service at MARFOPAC ALD.
