Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate incoming materials by confirming specifications through visual and measurement assessments, and take necessary actions on non-compliant materials.
- Conduct First Piece Inspections to validate that injection molding setups are correct and yield acceptable products based on established Product Specifications.
- Perform comprehensive product inspections by adhering to Product Specifications and recommended methodologies, including machine rounds and packaging audits.
- Verify proper packaging and weight of products during audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure accurate labeling of containers and proper organization of bulk products into designated storage areas.
- Stamp approved products with inspection certification, confirming that packaging is sealed correctly and stacked appropriately.
- Maintain records of the First and Last shots from production runs for quality assurance purposes.
- Assist the Quality Manager with data collection, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies, and calibration of inspection tools.
- Document inspection findings on the Record of Inspection form, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to subsequent shifts, including any deviations from specifications.
- Provide constructive feedback to supervisors regarding safety, fit, tolerance, quality, and operational practices.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to established standards and legal regulations, with knowledge of federal and international quality guidelines.
- Demonstrate punctuality and readiness to engage in daily tasks promptly.
