We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Stroke Care Coordinator. In this role, you will collaborate with medical and clinical leaders to coordinate clinical excellence in stroke-care across the facility.

As a Stroke Care Coordinator, you will:

* Work with team to identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care
* Perform quality assurance studies and assist with the implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives
* Monitor departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements
* May assist with the marketing and advertising of programs and services
* Function as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary teams responsible for monitoring and improving program performance

You will also have the opportunity to:

* Facilitate the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community, and emergency medical services
* Guide interdisciplinary team members in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program
* Assist in ensuring a high level of data accuracy and quality for stroke program reporting
* Work with community and professional organizations to further education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment
* Provide outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships

Requirements:

* Five years of Clinical experience
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN), Critical Care Nursing (CCRN), or NIHSS certification
* Current valid State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
