Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist Staten Island/Bard Ave Monday

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Technologist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality clinical diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to take diagnostic images of specific body areas as ordered.
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by the radiologist.
- Prepare and position patients properly and provide clear and concise instructions regarding the procedure before beginning an exam.
- Ensure quality review of the images fall within the guidelines of departmental SOP.
- Practice safety protocols with regard to patient and employee safety when in range of magnetic field.
- Technical Diploma from an AMA-approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License or New York State Radiologic Technologist Temp Permit.
- ARRT Advanced Certification in MRI required within 180 days of Hire or transfer.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Program or related Health field.
- Years of MRI technologist or training experience.
